A boutique full of love, style and grace. A place for empowering women, and a home for the “Curvy Woman.” Tonyan Schoefield, a curvy woman who had a hard time finding clothes for many years, had a dream to design clothes, but couldn’t sew. She began looking for “Fashionable Fashion Forward” clothing for the curvy woman. As she looked and shopped for this specific style of clothing, it soon led to the existence of the Tonyan Grace Boutique.

A strong woman who has been involved in business since the age of 17 was diagnosed with stage 4 breast Cancer in 2011, and given only one year to live. Within six months of finding out the news and having just opened a boutique in Pineville, NC, she had to close. Though a hard time for Tonyan and her family, it was the turning point in her life. She made a promise to herself and God, that if she survived five years, she would reopen. Schoefield has since survived five years, relocated to Salisbury, opened Tonyan Grace Boutique and been in love with not only her store, but also Salisbury.

Tonyan Grace Boutique offers clothing, sizes medium to 5x (10 to 28) and much more, such as bath and body products, candles, jewelry (for all occasions), hand bags/clutches, shoes, and sunglasses. The boutique also offers robes, doll baby negligees and to the woman looking to bring sexy back, lingerie (only store to offer lingerie in Salisbury). Nevertheless, her boutique is not just a place for people to buy clothes and jewelry, but it is a place for people to escape. She has what is called “The Grace Room” which serves as prayer room and a place for cancer patients, women and men who are tired and had a long day, stressed, sick, etc. to come and take a break or seek peace. Tonyan truly believes in encouraging and supporting people when they are going through a rough or traumatic time and is here by grace.

With a Salisbury business less than a year old, Schoefield prides herself on her company’s success, their phenomenal customer base, and providing exceptional customer service.
