Create an extra special event with an F&M Bank Trolley. Trolleys are available for rent year-round for weddings, reunions, meetings or events of any kind. Trolleys are available for events throughout Rowan County and the Piedmont region.

Travel by Amtrack

Another great way to visit Salisbury is by traveling on an Amtrak train. Just visit Amtrak’s site or go to your local Amtrak train station to reserve tickets today!

From Raleigh, the trip is just over 2 hours. Winston Salem is only 30 minutes, Greensboro is 50 minutes, and Charlotte to Salisbury is only 40 minutes.

If you want a fast trip to Salisbury without the frustration of using a highway then the Amtrak is the ticket for you.

The Amtrak train arrives at the beautiful Historic Salisbury Station. The Station is located just a few blocks away from the square and is a fun and different way to arrive in historic downtown Salisbury.

Salisbury Transit Bus

The public and affordable Salisbury Transit system serves Salisbury, Spencer and East Spencer.

The bus system has three regular routes. Each of these routes arrives and departs from the central Transfer Site located on Depot Street.

Salisbury Transit also provides an ADA demand responsive paratransit system that includes wheelchair lift-equipped vans to accommodate citizens unable to access our fixed route bus system because of a functional disability.
