12th Annual Wine About Winter

All attendees must check in and have their IDs checked at the Paul E. Fisher Gateway Building (Visitors Center, 204 E. Innes St.) Doors will open at 4 p.m. (Please enter through the front door of the building). Businesses will not begin serving wine until 5 p.m.

Attendees will be able to purchase tickets until 8:30 p.m. if not sold out. Check-in will close at 9:00 p.m. Those who arrive with only 30 minutes to participate in the event will likely not be able to sample any wine. Ticket holders can still pick up their swag from the Visitors Center until 9:30 p.m.

A complimentary trolley service will be provided throughout the evening in the downtown district for easy accessibility to all locations. The trolley will run from 5 p.m. until just after 9:30 p.m.

Again this year will be “Snack Stops”. Check your tasting pass for participating restaurants, shops, and boutiques serving a variety of free samples for you to enjoy throughout the night. Tasting passes will not be punched for food samples. This is a free addition to enhance your experience at Wine About Winter.

Visitors can earn two complimentary tickets to the 12th annual Wine About Winter wine stroll by booking their overnight stay in Rowan County.

Tickets are $36 per person in advance and $44 on event day, if not sold out. *additional processing fees and tax not included. Wine About Winter tickets include:

• one (1) souvenir wine cup
• one (1) Wine About Winter souvenir wine bag
• walking map
• wristband and more

AGE RESTRICTION: All ticket holders must be 21 years old or above. State-issued photo I.D. showing date of birth is required for each ticket holder to pick up your tickets (regardless of age). Each ticket holder must be present when checking in or purchasing tickets.
