13th Annual Wine About Winter

Friday, February 6, 2026, from 5-9:30 p.m.

Throughout downtown in participating shops, boutiques, and restaurants. All of the wine tastings occur inside the different participating shops and restaurants in Downtown Salisbury.

• All ticket holders must check in at the Paul E. Fisher Gateway Bldg. (Visitors Center), located at 204 E. Innes St.

• Upon checking in ticket holders will receive their tasting cup, souvenir wine bag, tasting map, wristband, and more.

• This year ticket holders will not receive tokens and can visit participating businesses to sample the countless number of wines on the tour.

• Each sample is a 1oz pour.

• Doors open at 4 p.m. Businesses will not serve until 5 p.m.

• Attendees will be able to purchase tickets until 8:30 p.m.

• Check-in will close at 9:00 p.m.

• Attendees who arrive with only 30 minutes to participate in the event will likely not be able to sample any wine as the event ends at 9:30 p.m.

• Ticket holders can stil pick up their goodies from the check-in location at the Paul E. Fisher Gateway Building.

Attendees can park on the street or in the following parking lots:

• County Lots on N. Main and Kerr St.

• The back of City Hall, 217 S. Main

• Parking lot behind the Visitors Center, 204 E. Innes St.

• The City lot behind Barnhardt Jewelers, 112 E. Innes St.

• Parking lot on Lee St., across from Salty Caper

• Wells Fargo lot on W. Fisher St.

Tickets can be purchased:

• Online by visiting www.DowntownSalisburyNC.com.

• In person at 217 S. Main St. (City Hall), the day of the event, Paul E. Fisher Gateway Building (if they aren’t sold out).

• Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 the day of.

• All attendees who plan to participate in the event must be 21+ years of age.

• All participants must have a valid photo ID.

You may not pick up tickets for anyone else. Each ticket holder must be present to show their ID before picking up items

You can sell or give the ticket to someone else as long as the individual is 21+ years of age. There are no refunds.

Complimentary trolley service will be provided throughout the evening for easy accessibility to all locations in the downtown district. The trolley will run from 5 - 9:30 p.m. “Trolley Stop” signs are placed throughout downtown and are noted on the tasting map.

• Wine About Winter cups are social district cups this year and can be taken out of the store.

• The social district DOES NOT APPLY / IS NOT IN EFFECT during the event.

The event is held in the winter, we recommend that attendees dress warmly and comfortably.

Some participating businesses provide various snacks and food samples. Businesses that provide a snack/food sample are noted on the map with an icon.

Spouses and children are welcome, however, to participate in the sampling of wine, participants must be 21+ years of age and have a valid driver’s license.

The event is rain or shine and no refunds. In the event of extreme weather conditions, staff will contact ticket holders via email and post on social media.
