Waldo is hiding in Downtown Salisbury’s local businesses for the whole month of July!

What is Find Waldo Local?

A community-wide Shop Local scavenger hunt, hosted by ABA-member bookstores and other local businesses during the month of July. Waldo-watchers young and old can search for Waldo in multiple local stores!

Here’s how to participate:

1. Pick up your stamp card from any participating business (list of participating businesses can be found above by clicking on the digital map button). You can also download the stamp cards as a PDF for printing by clicking the ‘download PDF map to print’ button. While you are there, be sure to find Waldo in the shop and collect a store stamp, sticker, or signature.
2. Visit more participating businesses. When you spot Waldo at any business, collect their store stamp, too.
3. When you’ve collected at least 25 different store stamps/signatures, take your stamp card to South Main Book Company, your FIND WALDO LOCAL headquarters, to claim a coupon for $1 off a Waldo book.
4. Collect at least 25 store stamps/signatures from businesses in Downtown Salisbury by July 31, when the search ends.

Plan to attend the Waldo grand celebration and prize drawing at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at South Main Book Company. There will be games, refreshments, and a drawing for prizes! You must be in attendance on August 3 to receive a completion prize.
